Competition Closed

This month we want you to focus on floral surface patterns. We would like you to design a pattern for a female recipient that could be used across a range of our wrap products including gift bags, wrapping paper and tags.

We would like you to look at spring/summer 2016 trends for inspiration and use a colour palette that reflects this season. Feel free to explore different techniques and mediums, whether that is a graphic style, collage or a beautiful watercolour painting. Think about how different lines and mark making can be applied to designs. Also, look out for inspirational posts on our blog over the coming weeks to help you.

We are really excited to view the finished entries and your interpretation of floral surface patterns!

Be Commercial
We would like you to keep the Marks and Spencer customer in mind. Your design must have a commercial feel that will appeal to women. Our everyday wrap and gift bags are on display now, so why not pop into your local store or go online to see the type of designs we create.

Prize
The winner will receive £200 and a possible placement.

Image Size
Images must be 500px x 500px or 500px x 700px, jpeg at 72 dpi.

Each entrant may submit a maximum of 5 designs each.

Please submit entries from Tuesday 20th January 2015 until Monday 23rd February 2015 (Midnight GMT) using the 'Enter Now' button below.

Don’t forget, to retain your original artwork at a resolution of at least 300dpi, incase your design is selected as the winner.

Take Note
You are not allowed to submit a design that is for sale or has been sold to another party. Tigerprint can only accept original or unpublished work. If you submit an unsuitable entry we won't be able to choose you as our winner.

We will endeavour to approve your designs within 48 hours, after which they will be displayed in the current entries gallery.
